Zetco Y strainers protect PRVs, TMVs, water meters and pumps from scale, weld swarf and sediment before it reaches sensitive components — fit one upstream of anything you don't want clogged or scored. The range covers lead-free DZR brass (3514, 6-50mm, WaterMarked), 316 stainless steel (4060, 6-80mm, WaterMarked to AS 3688, 2500kPa, -20°C to 200°C) and bronze (1524). Compliance matters here: the 15-50mm bronze 1524 is not WaterMark certified and is for non-potable, heating or industrial lines only — for a drinking-water installation under AS/NZS 3500, use the WaterMarked 3514, 4060, or the 65-100mm bronze 1524W (also WaterMarked to AS 3688, 2500kPa). The 3020 combines a full-bore ball valve and Y strainer in one DZR brass body, saving a joint at meters, PRVs, hot water units and backflow devices. When a screen clogs rather than fails, a spare mesh and lead-free washer kit lets you service the strainer without replacing the whole body.
Our dedicated Zetco foot valves (for priming pump suction lines) are being restocked — contact us for lead time.
