The AVG (Watts) Series 009 RPZ backflow preventer kit is a complete 15mm reduced pressure zone assembly — the device pre-fitted with lockable isolation ball valves, an inlet strainer and unions for a straight in/out installation. It protects the potable water supply from backflow contamination on connections such as irrigation, fire services and commercial equipment.
The compact bronze body uses two independent check valves, captured springs and a replaceable relief valve seat, with a single top-entry access cover for the whole check module — service work doesn't require special tools or removing the unit from the line.
