A one-piece hose tap vacuum breaker with a built-in hose snap connector. It replaces the usual two-part setup of a separate vacuum breaker and hose snap adaptor. The hose connection is machined into the vacuum breaker body, so there are no loose fittings or mismatched parts. It also removes one component from the job and from the van stock.
Water leaves through a purpose-designed outlet rather than spraying sideways from vent holes. That gives the end user a controlled, even flow at the tap, which cuts down on callbacks and complaints about messy spray. The body is lead free brass for long service life in Australian outdoor conditions. It is available in 20mm (3/4" BSP) and 25mm (1" BSP).
It suits new builds, renovations and hose tap replacements. It also works as a low-cost add-on when supplying outdoor taps and garden fittings.
